5th Special Forces Group Rolls Up Zarqawi Spy In Night Raid

Historical footage from Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), likely filmed around late 2004, shows a night raid being carried out by the 36th Iraqi Commando Battalion, led by US special forces troops (possibly 1st Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group) as they capture "Noori," a double agent who had been working for al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) leader secretly while under the employment of the US government.

Noori had given AQI the names and addresses of several Titan interpreters working for the US military in Iraq and was responsible for at least 30 interpreters being executed at their homes in less than two months by AQI assassins. Iraqi translators played a crucial role in US operations in Iraq and therefore made themselves high-value targets to anti-Western insurgents.
