IDF Troops Continue to Systematically Destroy Hamas Tunnel Networks

Video recorded by members of the Israeli Defense Force shows the destruction of a tunnel network in the Gaza strip. The Soldiers are seen cheering after they detonate their explosives, which is a point of controversy to individuals who have never once encountered a moment of danger or violence in their slow-paced boring lives.

What you're looking at here is a display of commando humor. Commando humor is the terminology for dark humor that generally takes place on the battlefield. Each of these men is operating in an environment where any day they could be killed my an errant explosive or well placed booby trap. They likely leave for operations every morning and every night expecting to be maimed or shot. They likely haven't slept in 24 to 36 hours, and the idea of a shower once per week is something seen as a luxury.
