Dashcam footage has surfaced from Yuba City, CA showing a shocking car crash, where a woman who just fled a hit-and-run incident hurls 50+ feet through the air.

On July 14, 2021, a family was driving down E Onstott Rd. which runs parallel with the Golden State Highway in Yuba City. As the truck takes a slight right turn, a car driving southbound on the other side of the overpass, launches over the berm. The vehicle, airborne for roughly four seconds, slams vertically, engine down into the ground before tumbling onto its roof.

Reports have stated, the woman driving the vehicle was headed southbound on E Onstott Rd. traveling up to speeds of 100 MPH before missing a turn and torpedoing her car off from the overpass. California Highway Police reported the woman was fleeing the scene of a hit-and-run incident just moments before the incident.

Initial instincts while witnessing this crash, you'd think there is no chance of survival. Miraculously enough, the woman survived the crash and walked out of the hospital on her own only a few hours later. If that wasn't enough luck, when the car launched through the air, it threaded the needle between two sets of power lines. Had she hit those lines, who knows what else could have happened.
