Why the M1A1 Abrams Dominates All Other Main Battle Tanks

The M1A1 Abrams Main Battle Tank is the single greatest tank in the history of the world, and I don't care what the Russians or the Chinese have to say about it.

When it comes to main battle tanks, the M1A1 and M1A2 Abrams is the greatest platform in the history of tank warfare. I know on paper there are better tanks. The Russian T-14 Armata looks to be a devastating main battle tank design, and the Chinese ZTQ-15 is basically the Wal-Mart brand equivalent of the Abrams, but that doesn't change my mind in the slightest, because I've seen the Abrams in combat first hand, and I know what it can do on the battlefield.

The Abrams, on paper, might not look as good as the Chinese and Russian counter-parts, but there's an X-Factor inside of the Abrams that simply can't be overlooked. The United States Army has the best, brightest, and most combat experienced tank crews in the world, and at the end of the day you can't quantify that key piece of the tank on paper in any way whatsoever. It's simply not possible.
