So, who wants a BMP-3? Apparently not the Russian Army. This vehicle was abandoned in Zaporizhia and recovered by the Ukrainian Army, who will doubtless repair it and press it into service. The BMP-3 is Russia’s newest and most capable infantry fighting vehicle, boasting a 100mm main gun and a 30mm coaxial gun. Despite the capabilities of this platform, it has not distinguished itself in Ukraine, and much more has been seen of earlier versions of the BMP.
