War in Ukraine, day 47: Liberated village of Romanivka

Operator Starsky continues with his daily Vlog series where he recounts his days during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

This isn't so much footage from Starsky as it is footage from one of the Ukrainian Public Affairs Officers who wanted to get the footage out to a wider audience. Starsky does make a quick appearance, but seems to be down with some kind of sickness according to the description of the video. Here's the full description.

While I was sick (which is not an excuse at all, comparing to what our guys are going through every day on the front lines) my colleague, press-officer of a friendly unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, made a trip to Romanivka. It’s a small village, currently part of Irpin, that survived Russian shelling and bombing. My colleague had a chance to talk to National Guardsmen working in the area, as well as locals who were staying in the village since the first day of the invasion.

Make sure you hit Operator Starsky with your subscription button over on YouTube too. If you're on desktop click the YouTube icon in the bottom right. That will take you over to his channel. If you're in the mobile app, you can click on the video itself which should take you to the YouTube app. Also make sure you leave a comment, it helps him in the YouTube algorithm, which helps get his message out to a wider audience.
