The Shanghai International Airport erupted into chaos on Sunday night after a lockdown and mandatory testing was ordered.

According to Chinese officials, (for whatever that’s worth) only a small cluster of baggage handlers had tested positive at the airport, so a testing facility was opened and travellers were herded in by staff in hazmat suits.

The chaos apparently died down before midnight, but this video and news of the outbreak have caused increased international concern over China’s reporting of very minimal daily case numbers.
