The US-led anti ISIS coalition reportedly carried out a precision airstrike while acting on intelligence of an imminent attempt at a prison break in Syria's Der ez Zor province.

The strike specifically struck a dwelling reportedly hiding a car bomb (SVBIED) that was to be used in the assault. Following the strike, a Kurdish-led Syrian Defense Force (SDF) raid nabbed multiple ISIS fighters and a large cache of weapons.
