Footage reportedly shows a Ukrainian paratrooper of the 80th Air Assault Brigade engaging a Russian BMP with an FGM-148 Javelin missile in eastern Ukraine and destroying it.

The US has provided over 5,500 of the Javelin fire-and-forget anti tank weapons to Ukraine, and the Ukrainian troops are putting them to great use as well as praising the effectiveness of the system. However, the delivery of the Javelins has raised concerns as to the depletion of the US' own stockpile as it would take at least four years to replenish those numbers at current production rates.
