This Russian-sourced video shows a strike of the Russian-occupied port of Berdyans’k, purportedly with the British supplied Stormshadow Cruise Missile. Located between Melitopol and Mariupol on the Sea of Azov, Berdyans’k is a critical port city well behind the front lines. Though not close and personal or particularly graphic, this video demonstrates the capability of Ukrainian forces to strike targets well behind the forward line of troops. With the much-anticipated Ukrainian offensive on the horizon, it is conceivable that this strike is part of larger shaping operations targeting Russian logistics nodes.
