Video recorded by unknown Ukrainian civilians captures the moment a Russian Su-35 burns in. Seconds after the jet impacts with the Earth, the pilot can be seen safely floating in his parachute.

For the purpose of context, this shoot down occurred near Kherson, and the footage was recorded by Ukrainian civilians. The pilot appears to have survived the shoot-down and can be seen parachuting towards the Earth in his ejection seat.

Oh and by the way, yes we're aware that the official Russian statement on this is that the Ukrainians shot down one of their drones thinking it was a Ukrainian aircraft. That doesn't explain the pilot in the parachute, unless this is one of those special manned drones that only the Russians have.
