Ukrainians Rig Improvised Munition To Quadcopter

Footage shows Ukrainian troops rigging an improvised explosive to a modified quadcopter drone and then sending it out to target Russian positions.

The technique of using recreational style drones to drop explosives was first made popular by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria using badminton shuttlecocks and water bottles as stabilization fins. The practice is now being used in conflict zones all across the world. As demonstrated by the video, the Ukrainians have taken the improvised drone munition industry to the next level with 3D printed fin stabilizers for significant accuracy gains.
