After disabling a Russian BMP, Ukrainian troops attempt to recover the vehicle. Once they discover that the vehicle cannot be recovered, they make the decision to fully the destroy the vehicle.

Something that's been interesting to watch in Ukraine is the Ukrainian military's ability to recover and reuse Russian equipment. For the most part, both sides of the conflict are using the exact same equipment, and as a result the Ukrainians are equally trained on the Russian gear. Whenever they're able to, it seems like the Ukrainians recover and reuse as much of the Russian equipment as they possibly can.

In this instance however the vehicle is too disabled to recover. While it's interesting to watch the attempt at a field recovery of Russian gear, it's equally interesting to watch the Ukrainians fully destroy the vehicle when it's not recoverable.
