Ukrainian air defense teams used a Buk-M1 surface-to-air missile system to shoot down a Russian Orlan-10 reconnaissance drone. While the Orlan-10 has proven to be a low quality drone, and it may seem like a waste of an air defense missile, however, even a poorly made drone can provide priceless realtime intelligence of Ukrainian troop sizes, locations, and movements.
