A Ukrainian Special Operations team conducting an offensive operation makes a quick pit stop on their route to drop mortar rounds on Russian positions.

According to the source, the purpose of this operation was to bait Russian artillery into conducting counter-battery operations against them. Their objective with that was to make it so that their own counter-battery devices could locate Russian artillery pieces and conduct counter battery of their own.
