Ukrainian Soldiers Clearing Houses in Klishchiivka, Bakhmut

This helmet cam/GoPro compilation depicts Ukrainian soldiers clearing the center of what used to be a town on the Bakhmut front.

Footage begins with the cameraman and his partner advancing from cover- in this case, the wreckage of a vehicle, though it isn’t known to which side it originally belonged. At 0:21, we see the cameraman fire a grenade launcher. At 0:45, a grenade lands nearby and the cameraman dives to the dirt, apparently unharmed when it explodes. He and his squad continue to press the attack on Russian-held buildings.

At 01:11, the cameraman switches to a handheld mode, showcasing some of his squad as well as himself. As he moves through what used to be a populated area, it’s hard not to notice the scale of the destruction. At 01:44, we see him throw a grenade over some rubble to clear potential Russians on the other side before clearing some of the small, remaining structures.
