Footage from a trench battle in the Khromove district of western Bakhmut shows a firefight in which small arms fire and grenades are exchanged at close range.

At one point in the video, a Ukrainian service member is shot in the helmet, but the round appears to deflect or be stopped by the helmet. The video then transitions to a casualty evacuation as the troops attempt to get their wounded buddies life-saving medical attention.
