When it comes to footage like this, it is sometimes difficult to analyze, as the entire context before the Russian soldier shoots is cropped out (or just doesn't exist). Not trying to justify the Russian soldiers actions, but it is all too often we see media outlets releasing segmented footage to portray a narrative for their political views.

Regardless of the context, large amounts of small-arms fire and heavy machine gun fire are heard, echoing throughout this town/cities streets.
