Drone video released by Russian sources on Telegram shows a Ukrainian mortar team being destroyed by accurate counter-battery from a Russian artillery unit. It's likely that a counter-battery system got wind of where the Ukrainians were, and a drone was dispatched to the area to find the exact point of origin. Once that location was found, it was nothing but map work for the spotters to get a ten digit grid reference point back to the gun-line. This is likely the future of all counter-battery operations as we've seen both sides doing this with great effect.
