More landmine warfare footage coming out of Ukraine today shows another unmanned drone being used to emplace anti-tank mines. The mines appear to be TM-62 Soviet anti-tank blast mines, meaning they're probably older than the Soldier controlling the drone that's dragging them out into the field.

Another positive for this style of emplacement, outside of keeping the troops under hard cover where they can't be targeted by aerial reconnaissance, is that the mines aren't buried. While this does mean that advancing Russian troops supporting tanks will be able to spot them, it also means they'll be easier to recover in a post-war Ukraine. The tankers likely can't see them either way.
