Often, we have seen the various consumer type drones dropping munitions of limited payload with mixed results on Russian targets. However, most of the videos of the R18 octocopter show the use of Soviet RKG-3 anti-tank grenades modified into RKG-1600 bombs, which are significantly more effective against enemy armor.

The R18 has eight propellers and is capable of carrying several pounds of explosive payload. It has a range of 4 km, a loiter time of 40 minutes, and it can hit a target within a radius of 1m from a height of 300m.
