Ukrainian troops demonstrate the setup and deployment of the German-delivered DM-22 directional anti tank mine, an interesting system that has been responsible for the destruction of several Russian combat vehicles.

Germany delivered at least 1,600 of the DM22 mines to the Ukrainian military following Russia's most recent invasion in February. The mine consists of a warhead, launcher, and tripod. It can be detonated when the target vehicle drives over a fiber optic cable, command detonated, or detonation via infra red sensor. The weapon system has an effective range of up to 100 meters and the HEAT warhead can penetrate four inches of steel armor.
