An unconfirmed and reportedly recent video allegedly shows a Ukrainian Buk-M1self-propelled, medium-range surface-to-air missile system knocking down a Russian military jet with a 9K37M1 missile.

The exact context of the video isn't known, but it was likely filmed in eastern Ukraine based on the fresh snow and the cameraman shouting in Russian about shooting "that Russian [expletive] down." In late February 2022, the Ukrainian military deployed five Buk-M1 air defense systems into the Donbass region of Ukraine as tensions with Russia peaked just before the invasion.
