Drone video released by the Ukrainian Border Guards shows the destruction of a Russian Infantry Fighting Vehicle. They use a commercial drone to direct artillery fire directly onto the vehicle.

Artillery is quickly evolving past being an area effect weapon system. I think both the Ukrainians and Russian have proven that artillery is becoming a more and more viable precision weapon system and this largely due to advances in forward observations equipment like commercially available drones.
