Ukraine Uses 9K111 Fagot Against Russian Armor

Published 5 months ago

Recent footage reportedly recorded from a Ukrainian soldiers perspective, shows a Ukrainian ATGM team with a "technical" mounted, 9K111 Fagot, destroying Russian armor.

We have seen the 9K111 Fagot used in several other conflicts, more specifically in Syria, and have seen how effective and deadly this ATGM system can be. Now one thing to specifically note about the video claims, why are Ukrainian troops using a 9K111 Fagot, opposed to their own Stugna-P which we have seen so commonly over the past several months.

If the claims are to be true behind the footage, I'd assume that this ATGM was, "tactically acquired". Analyzing the footage solely on uniforms and confirming one side or the other is unfortunately out of the question. Could these actually be Russian troops destroying Ukrainian armor? If anyone would like to provide secondary insight, let me know in the comments below.
