The Ukrainian Armed Forces unveiled a new domestically developed remote weapon system, the SHABLYA, which can be mounted to vehicles or stationary fighting positions, and can also be outfitted with a multitude of gun systems.

The SHABLYA allows the operator to scan their sector for threats without exposing themselves to enemy fire. A thermal imager makes the system especially effective at night against infiltrating Russian forces. The system shown in the video is demonstrated with a 7.62 machine gun, but larger weapons can also be used.
