UA Bradley IFV Lights Up Russian Infantry

A short yet impressive clip from the 47th Brigade defending the northern flank of the Avdiivka salient. A Ukrainian M2 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle faces off against Russian infantry in the trees skirting the railway embankment east of Stepne. The video begins with the Bradley launching its smoke grenades, creating a screen. The crew then fires through their smoke screen, likely utilizing the vehicle’s thermal sight to identify targets. The Ukrainians sweep the tree line with fire from the Bradley’s M242 Bushmaster chain gun firing 25mm high-explosive incendiary tracer (HEIT) rounds into Russian lines, which detonate on impact with the force of a hand grenade. The crew’s impacts are observed and corrected by the drone overhead, ensuring that rounds hit their targets. That tree line is not a fun place to be.
