Two Ukrainians Dead in Alleged Southern Donbas ATGM Strike

Published Feb. 22, 2022

Footage that was allegedly recorded by Russian Separatists in the Southern part of Donbas captures an ATGM strike against Ukrainian troops on 21 February, 2022.

First and foremost, we can independently verify that two Ukrainian Soldiers were killed on the date this footage was allegedly recorded. According to reports coming out of the Southern Donbas Region, 2 Ukrainian troops were killed in an ATGM strike by Russian-backed Separatists. What we cannot confirm is that this is the footage from that specific incident. This could be footage released by the Russians to act as misinformation, or it could be footage from another conflict entirely, posted to the internet to gain internet points.

While we can't verify the validity of the footage, there's still a strong possibility that this footage is indeed correct. If we can find anything that directly links or discredits this footage to the Ukrainian troops who were killed on 21 February, 2022 in the Donbas region, we will update this post.
