Reports coming out of Kherson tonight state that a Turkish Cargo Ship called the Tuzla was damaged by a missile from an unknown source, however the Ukrainians suspect that it was an attack from Russian Naval forces operating in the Black Sea.

The Tuzla has been stranded at port in Kherson since February of last year when the invasion of Ukraine began. The ship, which is operated by CayeliShipping, is one of the 12 Turkish ships that is not currently protected by the U.N.-brokered Black Sea grain deal.

At the time of the incident, no crew were on-board and no casualties have been reported. There has been no confirmation of the origin of the explosion yet, however Ukrainians are stating that it was a missile from the Russian Navy operating in the Black Sea.
