Russia appears to have replenished their stocks of thermobaric warheads as a powerful Tos-1 MLRS barrage hammers Ukrainian positions in Avdiivka, a contested village north of Donetsk city.

Thermobaric weapons, also known as vacuum and fuel-air bombs, erupt with a powerful concussive blast. The detonation combusts all air in the vicinity of the explosion that can result in severe lung injuries, even to those behind heavy cover.
