Fellow veteran author Tripp Ainsworth from Smokepit Fairytales released this video about four years ago explaining why the American Military is actually an anime, and ever since it's been on my mind absolutely rent free. Now I'm showing it to you so that it can live in your head rent free as well.

Fun Fact - My fellow Marine author and good friend Tripp was about halfway through publishing his audiobook on YouTube when YouTube decided that the contents of his book Smokepit Fairytales was too "pornographic" for the platform. They then removed his entire audiobook from YouTube. In response, he re-uploaded the entire thing to XVideos, and started a guerilla marketing campaign where he left comments as the audiobook on random pornographic videos to bring eyeballs over to his content.

If you haven't checked out Smokepit Fairytales I won't blame you. He's got somewhere in the ballpark of a dozen books released in the saga, and is struggling to get anyone to work with him on the audiobook because the state of being an author in today's climate is ridiculously difficult. You're either co-writing your book with Hillary Clinton and Stephen King, or you're self-publishing on Amazon for 300 dedicated readers for an annual salary of $1200 a year.
