If you've ever wondered why it's so difficult to stop a rebel faction or an insurgency, let this video answer the question for you. Rebels and insurgents have one very distinct advantage over traditional conventional ground forces. They can be everywhere, anywhere, and nowhere all at the exact same time, and they also have the benefit of knowing exactly who, and where their enemy is at all times.

This video, showing members of the Free Syrian Army conducting a near point-blank ambush against a regime tank, was probably the neighborhood of the RPG gunner and his camera-man. For the SAA fighters, this was their country for sure, but there's a chance that the only time they had been in this area was specifically for the purpose of fighting in this conflict. That's another disadvantage for the SAA troops who are getting ambushed by an enemy they can't see, and an enemy that they probably will never see as the odds of these guys bugging out right after the RPG was fired is incredibly high.
