Recently released footage from the Yekineyen Anti-Terror Unit of the Syrian Democratic Forces shows a midnight raid against an Islamic State hideout in Syria.

The video above is a sanitized released by the Yekineyen Anti-Terror Unit of the Syrian Democratic Forces. For the past few weeks the YAT has conducted a number of raids against Islamic State strongholds both throughout their controlled territory and inside of refugee camps. The aim of these operations is to reduce the likelihood of the Islamic State being able to gain a foot hold anywhere in Syria.

To date, the YAT has rounded up hundreds of suspected Islamic State operatives throughout a number of refugee camps. They have also conducted a number of direct-action raids like the one seen in the footage above to eliminate hot-beds of violent extremist activity.
