A Tik Tok video is trending in which a US Marine veteran hilariously exposes a man fraudulently claiming that he's a service member in an attempt to get a 10% discount on his Waffle House tab.

It doesn't take much to determine the man is a poser considering he has a full beard and earrings while wearing outdated universal camouflage pattern Army combat trousers mismatched with an Air Force blue tiger stripe top.

The most ridiculous part is that the faker tries to turn himself into the victim for being called out. However, the cashier sets him straight by quickly pointing out what a D-bag liar he is.

It's been a while since we posted some stolen valor material. It seems to have hit its peak during GWOT when there was a weird phenomenon of posers that wanted to cash in on the pats-on-the-back and the plethora of fresh out of the military veterans that were viciously defending the sanctity of the bullshit they had just gone through.

Many times the offenders turned out to be mentally ill, which to me doesn't exonerate the behavior, and should instead raise concerns as to how far this person of altered mental status is going to take the warfighter identity. Are they going to start shooting at some point?

It's not clear what drove the man in this video make such a bad attempt at claiming military service. Perhaps he is just incredibly thrifty.
