Video from the last week of March shows members of the Sheikh Mansur Battalion taking heavy indirect fire inside of the city of Bakhmut as they participate in the defense of the city.

While this video was labelled as March 21, 2023, the weather patterns seem to line up with that last week of March as well. This video was recorded before the recent cold snap that saw several inches of snow coating the ground in and around the Bakhmut region of Ukraine.

For the uninitiated, the Sheikh Mansur Battalion is a Chechen volunteer battalion working for the Ukrainian military. If you'd like to learn more about them, we've done several comprehensive write ups that you can find my searching "Mansur" in the search bar in the top right hand corner.
