Ukrainian Soldiers participating in the on-going battle in Severodonetsk fire several rifle-launched grenades towards Russian positions before being engaged with return fire.

The fighting in Severodonetsk continues to intensify as Ukrainian and Russian forces clash for control over the city. It is being reported that thousands of civilians are still trapped in the area, and Russian forces have destroyed the only remaining bridge that would allow for the civilians to retreat, or for Ukrainian forces to receive support from nearby units.

This video shows Ukrainian forces lobbing rifle-mounted grenades towards a known Russian position. Shortly after the first grenade is fired, the Ukrainian forces receive indirect fire in response to their aggression, forcing them to retreat into a nearby building for cover.
