A German fairy tale called “The Brave Little Tailor” tells of a man emboldened after killing seven flies with one swipe of his hand. He stitches a belt with the words “seven at one blow” onto a belt and sets out into the world, where he bests a variety of foes who all assume that the “seven” on the tailor’s belt refers to men or giants or other creatures more menacing than a housefly. In this case, it is the 2nd Battalion of the 3rd Assault Division that wipes out seven members of a Russian squad with a single 120mm mortar round. Location near Andriivka, south of Bakhmut.
