Sacramento's Special Enforcement Detail Dumps 33 Rounds On Armed Suspect

This compilation of drone and bodycam footage shows Sheriff's deputies from Sacramento County, California, as they engage a suspect who had reportedly been firing randomly from his apartment window. The suspect also fired at the deputies as they arrived. They take him down with overwhelming firepower, having fired a reported total of 33 rounds.

The video begins from a drone's overwatch perspective, showing the officers engage the suspect. The suspect is identified as 43-year-old-William Wilson. Told to put down the weapon, Wilson decides to open fire, and is instead struck by a number of rounds as the three deputies open fire, a combined total of 33 times. One deputy fired nine times, a second deputy, two times, and a third 22 times. All three deputies belong to the Special Enforcement Detail, which is a SWAT unit attached to Sacramento County's Narcotics and Gang division.

Although the team moved forward to the downed suspect to render aid, Wilson was pronounced dead on-scene.
