Russians Use Mine Clearing Line Charges In Mariupol

Footage out of Mariupol shows a Russian UR-77 "Meteorite" launching mine-clearing line charges (MCLC) onto Ukrainian positions.

As the name states, the intended use of the MCLC is to clear pathways through minefields, but in this instance it appears to be used as an assault weapon against hardened defense positions. In comparison to American MCLCs, the Russians' appears to only detonate at the point of the line, while the entirety of the US MCLC line detonates, creating a linear blast rather than a point blast.
