Russian Troops Retreat While Being Chased by a Tank

Drone video released by Ukrainian forces refutes claims stating that tanks have no place on the modern battlefield due the existence of anti-tank weapon systems.

While tanks certainly have had reduced efficacy in the Russo-Ukraine war, I think over the past few months we've seen a number of videos proving that tanks are indeed still a main-stay in modern warfare. It is true that anti-armor weapon systems have drastically changed the manner in which tankers can operate, but in no way have those weapon systems made it so that armor does not have a place in front-line combat.

Instead, I would argue that tanks and tank commanders have to be cognizant of the threat of anti-tank weapon systems in the same way that infantrymen are cognizant of the threat of landmines and machine gun emplacements.
