Russian Tank Turret Launched High Into Sky

Chinese Phoenix Television presented a dash cam video showing the absolute destruction of a Russian tank in the vicinity of Mariupol, and the turret can be seen flying high into the sky.

The tank itself was probably hit with some sort of anti armor weapon, but the massive blast was more than likely a result of the onboard ammunition and fuel cooking off. In this conflict, Russian tanks have demonstrated their susceptibility to secondary blasts after being hit. Unlike the American Abrams tank where the ammunition is stored in an isolated and protected compartment, the Russian tanks have an autoloading system that requires their ammo to be exposed inside the hull of the vehicle, and it has been a recipe for disaster.
