Russian T-90 Targets Ukrainians on Thermal Supplied by France

Published 4 months ago

Video recorded by a Russian tank crewman inside of a T-90 shows a thermal imaging device manufactured by the French aerospace company Thales.to target an unknown Ukrainian position.

According to the source of this footage, you're looking at the inside of a Russian T-90 with a full suite of thermal imaging devices provided by the French aerospace company Thales. The Russian tank crewmen are using that equipment to target and destroy a Ukrainian position or vehicle with a rather hot thermal signature. It's unclear what the target is.

It's unclear when this thermal imaging suite was delivered to Russia by Thales, but the sale of this equipment to the country has been illegal due to an EU trade embargo that was established in 2014 when Russia initially annexed Crimea. It certainly does look brand new though.

This tank shot delivered to Ukrainian forces by a multi-billion dollar French aerospace engineering company that often operates in the defense industry.
