Russian forces released footage reportedly showing a successful Iskander missile precision strike on a pair of Ukrainian M901 launcher vehicles, key components of the MIM-104 Patriot air defense system. The incident reportedly occurred in the vicinity of Pokrovsk in Eastern Ukraine's Donetsk region.

Although Russian forces have claimed to have destroyed Patriot systems in the past, this is the first time compelling evidence has been produced to verify their claims. Ukrainian sources are claiming the strike destroyed an S-300 air defense system, not a Patriot, which is certainly possible.
