Footage from the Ukrainian 82nd Air Assault Brigade shows an explosive-laden kamikaze drone chasing down and making a direct hit on a Russian troop in a trench.

These FPV bomb drones have essentially replaced snipers in this modern conflict, as both roles serve a similar purpose, but the drone is arguably more effective and places less risk on friendly troops. No line of site is needed with the enemy target, and the controller of the drone can operate behind cover. I would even say the drone carves an equal or greater psychological toll out of enemy troops as well.
