Russian Shoots FPV Drone, Nailed by Second Drone

The gods of drone warfare certainly knows how to punish someone for success, particularly if that person is a Russian infantryman. A Russian soldier uses his weapon to destroy an FPV drone. He apparently became overconfident and emerged into the open, attracting the attention of another observation drone. A second FPV drone is directed to the target and nails our erstwhile hero before he can bring his weapon to bear. A second Russian soldier arrives to tend to the fallen man, a rather uncommon occurrence in Russian circles.

Investment and innovation by Ukraine have granted them superiority in EW and drone warfare. Russian commentators and milbloggers have openly complained of Ukrainian superiority in drones, crediting them with significant numerical advantages in both drones and operators. Ukrainians have effectively coordinated drone reconnaissance units with both indirect firing agencies and drone strike units, which has permitted Ukrainian units to inflict substantial casualties on attacking Russian formations. Russian forces have failed to match their opponents organizationally, quantitatively, or qualitatively, and are paying the price for this failure.
