Unconfirmed footage, reportedly recent, shows a Russian fighter of the Donetsk Peoples Republic's "Sparta Battalion" launching rocket propelled grenades at supposed Ukrainian troops in the contested Donbass region of Ukraine.

Although the Sparta Battalion presents itself as a grass roots Ukrainian separatist group, it is a Russian paramilitary group founded and initially led by Russian mercenary Arsen Pavlov, better known as "Commander Motorola" until his assassination in October, 2016.
