Due to an uptick in attacks against Syrian troop transports, Russian Mi-24 Hind attack helicopters have begun flying convoy security for troop movement operations.

The low flying maneuvers demonstrated in the video not only give the Syrian military an immediate reaction force should they get attacked, the gunships also serve as an obvious deterrent to any would-be attackers. Additionally, the birds give the Syrian troops a burst of morale, knowing they have heavy duty military hardware on their side.
