Video recorded by a reconnaissance drone and Lancet Loitering Munition captures the moment an M777 Howitzer is seriously damaged in an attack by Russian forces.

From the footage, it appears as if the Ukrainians had stored their ammunition in a fairly convenient spot for the drone operator. Had the ammunition not been located so close to the howitzer, this attack would have likely been far less impressive.

Unfortunately, the ammunition is where it was and the sympathetic detonation of that ammo likely caused more serious damage to the howitzer than the kamikaze drone itself.
