Footage released through official Russian channels shows the destruction of a Ukrainian piece of armor in the Donbas region. According to the radio communications, the shot was around 6,500 meters.

Just before the weapon system is engaged against the Ukrainian vehicle, the gunner of the Ka-52 can be heard saying "6500, launch!" This is our only indicator on the range to the target. Outside of that, the only context we have is that Russian forces had positive ID on Ukrainian armor in the Donbas region, so they acted to remove it from the battlespace before it could present a threat to Russian forces in the area.
