Footage shows a pair of Russian Su-25 "Frogfoot" strike jets carrying out low-level close air support for ground troops in eastern Ukraine.

While the low-level flying is certainly captivating to watch, it puts Russian pilots at severe risk of man portable air defense systems like Stingers and Iglas. Russian reliance on unguided rockets and dumb bombs requires low flying with direct line of sight on one's target.
